Enroute to KGRR(Grand Rapids)

I love airplanes. But I'm not old enough to take flying lessons, and my family doesn't own one. My solution? Microsoft's Flight Simulator 2004. I am addicted to that. It has awesome graphics and is very educational and fun. I download many aircraft for it and enjoy flying them all. I am using this to practice for when I take lessons in the future. If you know of any good downloads or freeware, feel free to post comments.

My First Flight

Now loving airplanes and all, my dream was to be a pilot. But I had never experienced sitting in the "Hot Seat". So for my birthday, I was surprised by being taken to local airport. I actually got to fly the airplane! The only part I didn't get to fly was landing.

Model Planes

I love airplanes, so why not have model airplanes? I have a LOT of model planes. My favorite brands are Herpa for commercial planes, and Maisto for Military planes. My most prized military aircraft is the A-10 Thunderbolt II I got a couple years back. Pls let me know of any model planes you like so I can check them out.

Hi everyone,I am ten years old and this is my blog! this is my first blog. I am obsessed with airplanes. This summer I am going on an 14 hour NONSTOP plane trip to India. Usually we stop somewhere in europe. I am very excited. We are going to be flying a 777-200ER Worldliner.

Here is a poem I wrote about when I see an airplane for an Advanced Language Arts assignment.

The Soaring Airplane

When I spot an airplane in the sky
I see its wings soaring way up high
my mind goes into overdrive
my eyes are fixed upon the sky
I shout with all my voice, look at that!
My family cranes their necks to look
My mind snaps out of overdrive
The plane soars out of my sight
as I slip on my hat
